TimeSculpt (2023 →)

Timelines in school have historically been a poster, a ruler, and a lot of arguing about spacing. TimeSculpt is what happens when you move that onto a screen and let a whole class work on the same one at once. Everyone edits live, everything syncs across devices instantly, and nobody overwrites anybody else's work. You can drop in images straight from your phone, add links, format the text, flip the whole thing between horizontal and vertical, recolor it, and the layout sorts itself out so you're not manually nudging boxes around for twenty minutes. It saves to the cloud constantly, which mostly exists so that no student ever has to say the words "it didn't save."

I've been chipping away at this one since 2023, so it's the longest running thing I've built. The use cases turned out broader than I expected: World War II with photos attached to each event, the evolutionary record laid out with species and fossils, Norwegian history from the Vikings forward, and honestly just group project planning, which is a timeline whether anyone calls it that or not. Sharing is a link, public or private, so a class presentation is one click. It runs on React with Firebase behind it and Feide login so schools can actually use it without a new account for every student. It's currently in pilot testing in a handful of schools, which is the phase where you learn all the things you got wrong.
